Born in Minoh City, Osaka Prefecture in 1993. Graduated from the Department ofTraditional Japanese Music, Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts.

At the age of nine, he was captivated by the improvisational nature of the Tsugaru shamisen and began practicing.

After moving to Tokyo to attend university, he performed primarily in the city and has also performed abroad, including in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and North America.

In 2019, he released his solo album "Shamisen Tokyo." He held a solo concert in Minnesota, USA, sponsored by the Japan-America Society.

In 2021 and 2022, he worked for the "Shamisen Collection," a concert organized by the Shamisen Expression Association, a general incorporated association of which he

serves as one of representative directors, bringing together contemporary shamisen

players at Omotesando Hills, Marunouchi Cotton Club, and Shibuya Stream Hall.

Starting in 2023, he hosted the Iwata Momokusu Live -Nagare- series.

Armed with the ideas cultivated in this crossover environment, he explores contemporary shamisen music.
